This challenge is for members of Chester Triathlon club. It has four stages: 1. “A541 climb to B5101” from 1st to 31st November: the climb from the A541 up Corwen Road to the turn for Ffrith; 2. “Long Lane Sprint” from 1 December to 31 January: the flat run from just south of the church in Old Waverton to the traffic lights on the bridge over the canal; 3. “Chapel Lane, Kelsall” throughout February: the climb up Chapel Lane in Willington; 4. “The Plough X-road to Christleton High” throughout March: the sprint along Plough Lane back to Christleton High School.
The challenge is designed so that efficient group riding can help individuals get better times (except the Chapel Lane climb) and we will try and route some of our weekend rides to incorporate the relevant sections in the relevant months. Segments can also be completed on individual rides.
Points are awarded according to ranking on each segment.
Activities included in the challenge are based on each athlete's local time zone.
Activity privacy settings must be marked Everyone to count towards the challenge.
All activities logged during the challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after a stage ends.
This challenge is organised by Chester Triathlon Club and only members may join.
