Strava explanation of point scoring….
Overall leaderboards are created for the General Classification (GC), King and Queen of the Mountain (KOM/QOM), and Sprint competitions.
An athlete’s position in the stage leaderboard at the end of the stage contributes to their overall point scoring.
KOM/QOM - Mountain stage 1st (10 pts) 2nd (8 pts) 3rd (6 pts) 4th (4 pts) 5th (2 pts)
KOM/QOM - Rolling stage 1st (5 pts) 2nd (4 pts) 3rd (3 pts) 4th (2 pts) 5th (1 pts)
Activities included in the challenge are based on each athlete's local time zone.
