Host your own challenge

Create a challenge for your club

You choose the duration of your challenge and which Strava segments are included. You could create:

  • A year long challenge with twelve stages; a different stage each month.
  • Single month challenge with a different stage each week.
  • One day challenge containing a single stage.

Your club's members will be included in the challenge. We take care of pulling in the right data from Strava for them when hosting your challenge.

Segment efforts for each stage are automatically ranked by elapsed time and shown in a leaderboard.

Point scoring

Overall leaderboards are created for the General Classification (GC), King and Queen of the Mountain (KOM/QOM), and Sprint competitions.

An athlete's position in the stage leaderboard at the end of the stage contributes to their overall point scoring.

Stage position 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th
General Classification points 15 12 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1
KOM/QOM - Mountain stage 10 8 6 4 2 - - - - -
KOM/QOM - Rolling stage 5 4 3 2 1 - - - - -
Sprint - Flat stage 10 8 6 4 2 - - - - -
Sprint - Rolling stage 5 4 3 2 1 - - - - -

The overall winner (male and female) is determined by whoever accumulates the most points by the end of the challenge.
